  • Do you accept dogs?

    We do in our standard pods and in your touring caravan, motorhome or tent.


    We do not accept dogs in any of our hiring caravans, chalet or our luxury glamping pods. 

  • Do you have shower facilities on site?

    We have a new amenity block that has 8 seperate cubicals that have a toilet, sink and shower in each one.


    They are also centrally heated.

  • Do you have laundry facilities on site?

    We have a laundry building that has 2 commercial coin operated washing machines and 2 commercial coin operated tumble dryers. We also have dish washing sinks and a freezer for ice packs located in the laundry too.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi on site?

    We have free wifi supplied by Simply WiFi. Because of the layout of the site, the signal is not always at the best.

  • Do you sell Gas?

    We sell Calor Gas in the most common sizes although you must have an empty to swap.

  • Do you have serviced pitches for tourers / motorhomes?

    All our pitches are hard standing, have electric, water tap, tv socket and drainage.

  • Do you have a shop on site?

    We have a caravan accessory shop on site. The local Co-Op is 2 minutes walk away in the village.

  • Is there anywhere to eat nearby?

    The local hotel is 2 minutes walk away and serves reasonably priced home cooked food. It also sells take away pizza. 


    You can also have chinese or indian food delivered to the park.

  • Is there fishing nearby?

    The site is boardered by the River Glass. Permits are avaialble to buy from the village angling club.


    There are also various pools/lochs in the area to fish as well.

  • Are there golf courses nearby?

    There are a number of courses in the area, Alness, Fortrose, Dornoch and Rosemarkie.

  • What is public transport like in the area?

    You can head into inverness or go further North. There is a train station in both Alness and Dingwall, each approximatley 5 minutes from Evanton.

  • Is bedding provided in your accommodation.

    Bedding is provided in all accommodation apart from the standard pods. 


    Towels are only provided in the Luxury Glamping Pods.

  • Do you have facilities on site for repairs?

    We have a workshop on site that can service / repair all makes of caravans / motorhomes. 

  • Are there any walks in the area?

    There are lots of walks in the area. You will find them on our website,.


    You can walk to the Black Rock Gorge walk from the campsite itself. 

Evanton is central to many places, East coast, West coast, Loch Ness, Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is 20 minutes away. There are plenty of castles, distilleries,  and beaches to visit too. You can take a walk to the Fyrish Monument, not far from the site, a local landmark that will afford you stunning views of the area.
